Left-handedness Left-Handers Day, 13 August 2002. The International Day of Lefty was instituted in 1992 by the Left-Handers Club to celebrate the left-handedness and educate the public about all sorts of advantages and disadvantages of being left handed. The celebration has grown over time, and in some countries, like England, carried out various leisure activities.
